Can you move my existing website?
If the website is WordPress, then yes.
Most migrations are done at no cost, however, large or complicated websites may require more work to move.
What if my website is not WordPress?
We can convert your website to the WordPress platform. Please get in touch to discuss.
How do I log into my hosting account?
As Lexicom hosting plans are managed, there is no way for you to login. You will have full access to the website backend and we can provide secure FTP access should you or your developer require it.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards on request however we prefer payment to be made via bank transfer into either our New Zealand or Australian bank accounts.
You didn't build my existing website, but can you still host & maintain it for me?
If you website is built using WordPress, then yes, we can. We can migrate your website to our platform with zero downtime. We generally do this at no cost to you unless your website is particularly large or complex.
Why doesn't your hosting include email?
Because running your own mail server is a nightmare. Digital Ocean sums it up well:
setting up and maintaining your own mail server is complicated and time-consuming, and there are several affordable alternatives—most people will get more value, in the form of saved time, out of using a paid mail service.
